Nigerian Air Force treats frontline personnel in war front to Christmas launch
London, Dec.27,2020 (AltAfrica)-The Nigerian Air Force, NAF has treated its frontline personnel confronting the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists and other bandits in Borno, Adamawa and Kastina states to Christmas launch in appreciation of their continued service to their fatherland

The Christmas launch was led by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar who spent his Christmas with personnel of the Air Taskforce Operation Lafiya Dole

The Air Chief said the tradition of celebrating festivities with troops in the frontline was to foster comradeship and appreciate the enormous contribution and sacrifice they make for peace and unity of the country.

He charged them not to relent in prosecuting the war on terror until victory was achieved.
“Let me reassure us all that the procurement of the additional platforms such as Super Tucano, JF-17, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and other additional equipment would certainly be a game changer for our operations”.
He explained that Nigeria Airforce has created more than seventeen units to bring security closer to the people.
Borno state deputy governor, Umar Kadafur lauded the Airforce and assured of sustainable partnership to end insurgency.
