Egyptian forces kill 18 terrorists in latest attack
London, July 22, 2020 (AltAfrica)-The Egyptian armed forces announced on Tuesday that its forces in North Sinai had foiled a terrorist attack targeting a military position, killing 18 takfiris terrorists who had participated in the attack.

Two military personnel were killed while four others were injured during the operation.

According to the statement as reported by Ahram, the takfiri elements attempted to attack a military position in the Bir El-Abd area using four vehicles.
The Egyptian forces in the position. with the help of the air forces, pursued the takfiri elements into some farms and empty houses, which led to the killing of the 18 takfiris, including an individual wearing an explosive belt.
The statement said that four vehicles were destroyed, including three cars rigged with explosives.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack
Egypt’s Armed forces assured in the statement that they will continue exerting all efforts securing all of the state’s strategic sides, eliminating the roots of terrorism, and providing security and safety for all Egyptians.
