London, Dec. 14, 2019 (AltAfrica)– American singer, Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter will be visiting Ghana in December 2019 as part of plans for the country’s Year of Return, Pulse.com.gh sources say.

The singer, songwriter and actress is a global superstar having made a mark in the music industry with albums including “Dangerously in Love”, “B’Day” and “Lemonade”.

38-year-old Beyonce visit to Ghana will, however, not be about music as the “Brown Skin Girl” will not be performing during her stay in West Africa.

Ghana’s Year of Return 2019 has gained grounds across the globe.

Since President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo formally launched the Year of Return in Washington D.C. in September 2018, Ghanaians have seen the likes of Boris Kodjoe, Nicole Aris Parker, Anthony Anderson, Idris Elba, Diggy Simmons, Michael Jai White, Rosario Isabel Dawson among others visited the former Gold Coast.

In 2019, the list has grown with popular American comedian and entertainer Stephen Harvey, American rappers TI and Cardi B, Jack Dorsey all making trips to Ghana.

Having made headlines on CNN and Forbes with regards to Ghana being one of the best tourist destinations in Africa, Bozoma Saint John has done spectacular work in selling Ghana to the world.

Pulse Ghana sources indicate the former PepsiCo, Apple and Uber executive is playing a key role in Beyonce’s visit to Ghana.
