London, Dec. 6, 2019 (AltAfrica)-An Ohio man who was arrested last year for sexually assaulting his own mother argued in court that he was half-asleep and not fully conscious when it happened.

Timothy O’Leary, 34, has pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting his own mother, Suzanne O’Leary, 58, claiming that he suffers from somnambulism.

Suzanne O’Leary realized that she had been impregnated by her son during her sleep after a visit to the doctor showed that she was pregnant at the late age of 58.

Suzanne O’Leary also attested to not having any sexual activity since her husband died ten years ago.

“Timothy has always been afraid of the dark since he was a baby, so I have always allowed him to come and snuggle up at night, but this time it went too far,” Timothy O’Leary’s mother told judge Andrew Banes.

Timothy O’Leary’s attorney, Phillip Scumm, is claiming that his client suffers from a condition known as ‘sexsomnia’ and is therefore not guilty of sexually assaulting his own mother during her sleep.

“I love my son but he has often acted towards me in a hypersexual manner, grabbing my breasts from behind while I am washing the dishes, opening the curtain while I am in the shower or sniffing my dirty underwear in front of me, it just has to stop,” she told the judge in tears.

Timothy O’Leary who was currently unemployed at the time of the assault had been living with his mother Suzanne O’Leary since he was a child and had never left the family home.

O’Leary also posted on social media on multiple occasions sexually suggestive pictures of himself in bed lying next to his mother who was apparently asleep at the time as well as pictures of her in or exiting the shower with the hashtag #MILF.

Suzanne O’Leary, 58, gave birth last fall to the child of this unlikely union explaining that the child was sinless and did not have to pay for the judgmental errors of her son.
