Another plane crash averted in Port Harcourt, Nigeria
London, June 22, 2019 (AltAfrica)-A plane operated by Air Peace has overshot the runway of the Port Harcourt International Airport in Rivers State under heavy rainfall.
According to one of the passengers on board, the incident occurred as the plane was landing at the airport. The plane came to a halt some 200 meters in the bush by the runway.
The witness said all of the passengers have been evacuated and driven to the arrival area.
This incident comes less than a moth when disaster was averted at Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos Nigeria as 393 passengers, including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, escaped air crash NAN
