London, May 12, 2019 (AltAfrica)-Premier league defending champion, Manchester City have lifted the trophy for the second time in roll after overpowering stubborn Brighton & Hove Albion with emphatic 4-1 on a dramatic last day of the competition

With Liverpool struggling to a 2-0 victory at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers, City is the premier League champion again as Jurgen klopp boys now turn attention to Champions League

Manchester City’s players, management and backroom staff celebrate with their fans gathered jubilantly at one end of the The Amex Stadium.. Truly astonishing to think that Liverpool amassed 97 points and still did not win the title.

No celebration at Anfield as angry Jurgen Klopp with grin on his face as heads down the Anfield tunnel.

Man City coach, Pep Guardiola has picked up 198 points in the last two seasons to cement his place in the premiership all time great coach

Well done Manchester City. Champions again, and what an incredible effort to retain their title.

But well done to Liverpool too. What a great season they have had and, with the Champions League final to come, it is not over yet.

Manchester City’s players, management and backroom staff celebrate with their fans gathered jubilantly at one end of the The Amex Stadium.

The race is run and the best team always wins the Premier League – and that honour once more goes to Manchester City.

Truly astonishing to think that Liverpool amassed 97 points and still did not win the title.
