Prince Harry, Meghan name son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
London, May 8, 2019 (AltAfrica)– The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have revealed the name for their baby boy – and it’s a real break from Royal tradition
Prince Harry and wife Meghan on Wednesday announced their new son will be called Archie, ending months of intense speculation.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are pleased to announce they have named their first born child: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor,” the couple announced on their Instagram account.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s first child, who is happy and healthy, was born at 5.26am on Monday weighing 7lbs 3oz.
Proud mum Meghan, 37, said her son “has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm.”
When he announced the birth in a surprise interview at Windsor Castle on Monday afternoon, Harry said the couple were still trying to pick a name.
It’s not unusual for royal couples to take time naming their child, and we had to wait days for Kate and William to announce George, Charlotte and Louis’ names.
But now the have finally settled on one – Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
