Saudi Arabia releases detained Nigerian Zainab Aliyu
London, April 30, 2019 (AltAfrica)-Saudi Arabian authorities have released Zainab Aliyu, a Nigerian detained wrongly for peddling drugs
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Mustapha Suleiman confirmed during a news briefing in Abuja.
He explained that the Ministry had engaged the Saudi Arabian Authorities to ensure the safe return of Zanaib.
The Permanent Secretary explained that the Cartel who implicated Zainab has been arrested.
According to him, Saudi Authorities received the judicial procedure on the Suspects before releasing her to the Nigerian Consulate in Saudi Arabia.
Ambassador Suleiman said another Victim, Ibrahim Abubakar who was facing a similar case with Zainab, would be released tomorrow.
He commended Nigerians for demanding justice and release of the Victim.
