Nigeria: NASFAT Partners National Broadcast Academy for Members’ Media Training

London, April 10, 2019 (AltAfrica)-In line with its vision and mission, a faith based organization, Nasrul lahi l fathi Society (NASFAT), has entered into a partnership with a foremost media training institute, National Broadcast Academy, Lagos to train its members in various aspects of media toward enhanced skill in the performance of their dawah activities.
The 3 day media training workshop billed to commence on the April 12 is to focus on knowledge acquisition in four key areas of the media.
These areas are; News Writing and Reporting, Media Ethics and Law, Presentation and Public Speaking as well as Elocution.
According to the Director of the National Broadcast Academy, Engr Abiola Ajibola, these courses have been specially selected and tailored to the needs of the participants for value addition in their various roles within NASFAT and their individual organisations.
Engr Abiola assured the participants that the practical experience of the facilitators, mostly veterans in the media would benefit them immensely.
Those taking part in the workshop include Publicity Secretaries, Missioners, Administrators of NASFAT as well as other stakeholders who are representatives of Head Quarters, Zones and branches of NASFAT nationwide.
The theme of the workshop is ‘Upgrading of Media Skills for Enhancing Dawah’
The last Media Skills Workshop organised by the Society was held at the Mass Communication Dept. of the Fountain University, Osogbo.
