Nigeria: PFN to honour victims of herdsmen attacks in Benue
London, Feb. 3, 2019 (AltAfrica)-The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), yesterday, said the decision to hold the biannual conference in Benue state is to show solidarity and pray for the souls lost during the herdsmen invasion of the state.
The conference is scheduled to hold from February 6 to 8, 2019 at the IBB Square in Makurdi.
Speakers expected at the event include the General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, founder, Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi, and former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Joseph Ayo Oritsejafor, amongst others.
Briefing newsmen on Saturday in Makurdi, PFN Secretary, Apostle Emmanuel Kure said Benue had passed through trying moments in the past years and the gathering of the Christian community will prove that the state was not abandoned. He said the conference, which has the theme “The Glory of The Latter House”, will also serve to foster unity among the various Christian denominations in the country.
