Nigeria: 33 Year-Old Teacher Arrested For Defiling Two Minors In Ogun
London, Jan. 9, 2019 (AltAfrica)-Men of the Nigeria police, Ogun State Command have arrested a 33yr old teacher, Akinsoku Love Olomi who resides at No. 10 Baba Esther area of Iyesi-Ota in Ado-Odo Local Government area for defiling two under aged girls (Names Withheld).
The suspect, was arrested on the 4th of Jan 2019 following a complaint by the mother of one of the victims, one Jenifer Mustapha who reported at Onipanu Division that the suspect who lives in the same house with them and a teacher in nearby private school saw her daughter and her friend who are six and seven years old respectively playing at the premises of the school and called them into one of the school’s classroom.
The suspect subsequently gave one of them money to go and buy biscuit and before the arrival of that one, he has had carnal knowledge of the other girl with him.
Olomi was said to have sent the one he had already defiled to go and buy another biscuit and he used that opportunity to defile the second one as well.
It was learnt, on getting home, the mother of one the victims noticed the change in her daughter’s countenance which made her to question the girl.
Upon the questioning, she revealed that it was Uncle Love as he is fondly called that tampered with her private part.
The matter was immediately reported to the police and upon the report, the DPO Onipanu Division SP Soganbiyi Johnson led his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested.
Confirming the report, the police image maker, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi said, during interrogation, the suspect admitted having carnal knowledge of one of the girls, but he claimed that he only fingered the second one, adding that the two victims have been taken to the hospital for medical examination.
Meanwhile the state Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to Anti Human Trafficking and Child Labor Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for proper Investigation and prosecution.
