Tulip International College Foundation fetes I00,000 Nigerians during salah celebration
London, August 26, 2018 (AltAfrica)-The Nigerian Tulip International Colleges Foundation (NTICF) in the spirit of the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations distributed Sallah items to over 100,000 people in twenty states in Nigeria. This was made known by the Coordinator of NTICF, Mr. Behlul Fatih Basaran in Abuja.
He stated that the gesture, which has been ongoing for the past almost two decades, is a part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objective of the Nigerian Tulip International Colleges and its sister organizations such as the Nile University of Nigeria, and Nizamiye Hospital.
“This gesture is part of the corporate social responsibility of the foundation to felicitate with those that do not have the means to provide for themselves during the Eid-el-Kabir celebration and other occasions, as a way of giving back to the society that has been receptive of us in the past 20 years. It is our little way of saying thank you.” He stated.

Mr. Basaran further added that hundreds of bulls were slaughtered and distributed to more than 100,000 people spread across more than 20 states in Nigeria. “This year, we were able to slaughter hundreds of bulls for distribution using over 30 distribution points across states, and we were able to reach out to over 100,000 people by providing them with meat and other items that made their Sallah celebrations worth the while.”
“In the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), we visited the Karamajiji settlement which is a colony of more than 1,000 disabled people (made up of the disabled and visually challenged) and their families to felicitate with them and also extend the milk of human kindness to them.”
“Every year, we try to put smiles on the faces of the needy in the society, most especially those living in IDPs. Our Moto is ‘Lets Smile Together.’ this much we have strived to do since 1998 across Nigeria and with good spirited our personnel as volunteers because the essence is to share with those who are in need.”
The NTIC Foundation was established in Nigeria to carry out CSR projects on behalf of the Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) and its sister organizations in Nigeria under the umbrella of the First Surat Group of Companies.
Since inception, the NTIC Foundation has made tangible interventions in the lives of the needy in the society in areas such as this and other charitable initiatives like free cataract surgeries, drilling of boreholes in rural communities, construction of schools in rural communities, and also the provision of clothes and shelter to those in need.
