78 year old Kenyan grandmother fitting car stereos
London, August 9, 2018 (AltAfrica)-Here is a 78-year-old grandma in Nairobi who can fix your car sound system with relative ease. Unlike other elderly Kenyans who are chilling in the village, Cecilia Wangari is busy pimping rides.
She doesn’t just fix audio systems on personal cars. She also runs four systems shops and service centres in Nairobi’s Eastland area with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

One of her shops in Kariobangi is called Shosh Sound Systems….how cool is that?
She is usually located in one shop while the rest are managed by her family members including sons, grandsons and their wives. In total, she employs 17 people.
Shosh narrated to Capital FM how she got into the public transport industry in 1980. Her matatu plying the Eastland – Nairobi CBD route.
When the matatu broke down, I would go to the garage and keenly watch the mechanics fix the problem and within no time I was making the repairs; removing and replacing engines, fixing the cylinder heads, replacing pistons and sumps, and other many other things.
She left the matatu industry after being advised by her doctors to do so. Apparently, it was giving her a lot of pressure. She then focussed on fixing speakers
