The story of Mohammed Abubakar . 24 years after he was employed as Aircraft cleaner, on July 31, 2018 Mohammed Abubakar of Kano, Nigeria, received his fourth aviation bar which qualified him as a pilot.
Abubakar began his career as an aircraft cleaner, gradually rising in rank until he was able to secure his certifications enabling him to operate a plane.
Abubakar is now a member of the crew at Azman Air Services Limited, based in Kano, Nigeria.
The incredible story of Abubakar was revealed by his employers who were so elated to showcase his achievement and a journey of total commitment
The airline company released a statement on Twitter stating, “He Joined the Aviation industry 24 years ago as Aircraft Cleaner. Today He is getting the Fourth Bar to becoming a CAPTAIN. Congratulations Mohammed Abubakar from all of us @AirAzman”
