Abeokuta, June 21, 2018 (AltAfrika)-The Ogun State House of Assembly on Thursday ordered the Electricity Distribution Companies (DISCOs), to with immediate effect put a stoppage to estimated billings to electricity consumers in the state.
The order was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of its stakeholders’ forum organised by the Assembly over inability of the electricity distribution companies to provide pre-paid meters to customers, non-compliance with National Electricity Regulation Commission (NERC) and erratic power supply across the state.
