TradeMark East Africa (TMEA) is an aid-for-trade organisation that was established to strengthen trade and markets (hence TradeMark) with the aim of growing prosperity in East Africa through increased trade. TMEA operates on a not-for-profit basis and is funded by the development agencies of the following countries: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Sweden, UK, and USA. TMEA works closely with East African Community (EAC) institutions, national governments, the private sector and civil society organisations.

TMEA wishes to identify and shortlist reputable firms/consortia with the required technology expertise to develop a Seed Certification and Plant Variety Protection system as stipulated in the tender document. Terms of reference for this assignment and the Expression of Interest (EOI) document can be obtained at https://www.trademarkea.com/get-involved/procurement/. All queries quoting the above Tender Title and Number should be emailed to procurement@trademarkea.com. The closing date for applications is 10.00 a.m. (Kenya Time) on Monday, 20 November 2017. Only successful applicants will be contacted.

Interested and qualified firms/consortia must register and apply online ONLY on the TMEA procurement portal: https://procurement.trademarkea.com. All attachments must be 10MBs or less.

TMEA cannot answer any query relating to this tender 7 days or less prior to the submission deadline.
